Last updated: 2026. Chatswood Table Tennis Club(“the Club”, “we”) respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email, and (optionally) phone, provided when you sign up.
• Activity — check-in/session history and competition results associated with your membership.
• Payments — when you pay for casual play or guest fees we collect the name and email you enter, and keep a record of what was purchased, the amount, and the payment status. Card details never touch our systems — payment happens on Stripe's secure checkout page.
• Guests — when a member pays for guests, we record the guest names provided so staff can verify entry on the day.
• Photos — club album images you appear in or upload, where applicable.
• Technical — basic, privacy-friendly usage analytics and a cookie that remembers your sign-in and theme preference.

How we use it

To run your membership and check-in, publish competition results and rankings, communicate club news, and keep the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers to operate the site:

• Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Google Drive — where club photo albums are hosted.

How long we keep it

Payment records are retained for financial record-keeping obligations (generally 7 years). Account and activity data is kept while your membership is active; you can request deletion at any time (see below) — payment records may be retained where the law requires.

Storage & security

Data is stored in our providers' secured infrastructure, protected by access controls and row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Accessing & correcting your information

You can view and update your profile after signing in. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at our contact page.
